Samsung releases new Galaxy Book and Galaxy Tab S3 tablets

Samsung has released its latest tablet range – the Galaxy Book and Galaxy Tab S3 – which aims to offer customers performance, convenience and maximum productivity on the move.

Each of the products have a sleek thin design but still manages to pack in an impressive range of features as well as 4G connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Book and Galaxy Tab S3 will go on sale on July 28.

The Galaxy Book is available in two sizes – 10.6-inch and 12 inch –  and will run the full version of Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.

Galaxy Tab S3 will run the latest Android operating system and includes quad stereo speakers.

Samsung’s tablets all feature stunning Super AMOLED displays that support HDR (high dynamic range) video.

Each of the products also offer a natural writing and drawing experience with the included S Pen which now has a reduced 0.7 mm tip and up to 4.096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Users will be able to write on the screen with the responsiveness of a real pen and paper.

Samsung is also work closely with well-known brand Staedtler to develop a digital stylus which offers the same performance of the S Pen but with the look and feel of a real pencil.

Samsung’s Galaxy Book is a 2-in-1 tablet and comes with a full-size keyboard to offer the benefits and power of a laptop in the convenience of a tablet.

Under the hood, the 12-inch Galaxy Book has the 7th generation Intel Core i5 processor while the 10.6-inch model has the Intel Core m3 processor.

The Galaxy Tab S3 has a 9.7-inch screen and includes the Vulkan API for smoother graphics and a Game Launcher for a more interactive and enhanced gaming experience.

The Samsung Galaxy Book starts at $1,099 for the wi-fi only model and $1,299 for the 4G version.

The Galaxy Tab S3 starts at $949 for the wi-fi only version and $1,099 for the 4G model.

All will be available from the Samsung online store www.samsung.com.au and the Samsung Experience Stores from July 28.

Carrier plans and pricing will be announced closer to the launch date.

As a special offer customers who order Samsung’s Galaxy Book before September 12 will receive a free Staedtler Pen and Samsung Multiport adapter which are valued at $198.
