Oppo has unveiled its new Reno13 smartphone series – the Reno13 Pro 5G, the Reno13 5G and Reno13 F 5G – which combine slick design and performance with new AI features.
Available from March 27, the Reno13 series range in price between $599 and $1,299.
“This is the Reno Series like you’ve never seen it before. With the technology inside, there’s absolutely nothing ‘mid’ about these smartphones,” says Michael Tran, OPPO Australia’s Managing Director.
“We’re packing 5,800mAh and 5,600mAh batteries, up to 80W flash charging, an IP69 rating, advanced camera systems, and an entire suite of AI features.

“Starting from $599, this isn’t just a new era for the Reno Series; it’s a new standard for the mid-range category.”
The Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G have a one-piece sculpted glass back and an aerospace grade aluminium frame which adds to the device’s durability without giving up looks.
The Reno13 Pro 5G has an Infinite View 6.83-inch screen while the Reno13 5G has a 6.59-inch display.
Both Reno13 Pro 5 and Reno13 5G have a 1.5K OLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate.
They have a 93.8 per cent and 93.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio respectively.

The Reno13 series smartphones have IP69 water and dust resistance and can sit under fresh water at a depth of two metres for 30 minutes.
In fact, all models have an underwater mode with independent colour tuning for distortion free shots and a physical button to make it easier to operate the camera underwater.
And when you’re done, a one-tap drainage mechanism drains all the water from the device within a few seconds.
On the camera side, the Reno13 series has an advanced system that’s powered by AI.
The Reno13 Pro 5G has a 50MP Ultra Clear main camera, 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide camera along with a 50MP selfie camera.
And the Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G support 4K video recording from the front and rear cameras.
AI comes into play with live photo which guarantees ultra clear high definition images.

Other AI features include AI Editor which provides several tools to produce pro-grade shots including enhancing clarity, unblurring and removing reflections.
AI Motion is a tool that uses generative AI to turn a still image into a three second video.
The Reno13 series also makes it possible to easily share photos with both Android smartphones and iPhones.
A new Tap To Share feature makes the Reno13 series among the first Android devices to offer direct sharing of live photos with iOS devices through NFC.
The Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G a powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Mobile Platform which offers slick performance, cutting edge gaming, high definition photography and the processing power to run advanced AI features.
The Reno13 Pro 5G and Reno13 5G have 5,800mAh and 5,600mAh batteries respectively and support the Oppo 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge technology.
These batteries offer high endurance and will maintain at least 80 per cent battery health even after five years of use.
The Reno13 F 5G has a 5800mAh battery and can be charged with the 45W SUPERVOOC flash charger.
