Users can achieve satellite connectivity and access to emergency response 24/7.
HMD OffGrid has a three-day battery and military grade durability despite weighing just 60g and easily fitting in the palm of your hand.
HMD OffGrid, as its name suggests, allows customers to stay in touch while out of range of the regular mobile network via the OffGrid app which is available for both Android and iOS users.
Users can enjoy two-way messaging and live location tracking for up to five people.
The device also has a check-in feature and allows you to send a pre-written message to friends and family at the click of a button.

– HMD Unlimited Plan: A$24.99 a month or A$239.99 annually for unlimited messages and check-in, SOS services (one-time activation fee of A$13.99). Optional live tracking for A$6.99 a month.
– HMD Freedom Plan: A$112.99 a year (one-time payment) with 350 text messages, unlimited check-ins and live tracking (one-time activation fee of A$27.99).
Setting up HMD off grid couldn’t be simpler.
Once users receive the device, they’ll find a QR code to activate their subscription.
