Kogan Mobile increases data allowances on all mobile plans at no extra cost

Kogan Mobile has increased its data allowances at no extra cost for all its new and existing mobile customers with an increase by up to 50 per cent on some plans from today.

Kogan Mobile, which uses the Vodafone 4G network, is offering the free data boost for customers on the 30-day, 90-day and 365-day options which already include unlimited talk and text in Australia.

The entry level Small plan ($14.79/30 days) goes from 1GB to 1.5GB, the Medium plan ($24.65/30 days) goes from 5GB to 6GB, the Large plan ($32.87/30 days) goes from 10GB to 11GB and the Extra Large plan ($43.56/30 days) goes from 14GB to 16GB.

“We know Australian mobile users want to access the internet on-the-go, without worrying about bill shock,” said David Shafer, Executive Director of Kogan.com.
“In March this year, we increased the data on our Medium, Large and Extra Large plans for free. Six months on, we’re doing it again — and this time, we’re also increasing the data inclusion on our Small plan too.

“Mobile users looking for a phone plan with a huge amount of data included, that doesn’t break the bank, now have more choice than ever and all our plans are receiving a free data increase.

“Our customers have been telling us that they’re using their phones more than ever before, and data allowance is the most important part of their mobile plan. As always, we’re listening to our customers and acting on it.”

The timing of Kogan Mobile’s announcement comes weeks before the new iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Note8 and LG V30 go on sale later this month.

Customer who buy their device outright are free to find a SIM only plan, like these at Kogan Mobile, without being locked into a contract.
